Sacred Tree Walk; The Lake of Branches, a free event for National Tree Week, with Heritage Guide Bartle D’Arcy on Sunday 2nd March at Loughcrew Gardens, Oldcastle Co. Meath. Learn about Parkland Trees on this 17th Century estate including the Lime Avenue and ancient Yew Walk and identify the seven Noble Trees of the Wood on the way to Lough Craobh the Sacred Lake hidden from view. Meet at Loughcrew Coffee shop which will be open on the day, suitable for children over 5 accompanied by an adult, includes a 3k walk over grass and paths including some inclines. No dogs or buggies.
