Elmgrove Farm is Ireland’s premier cut flower producer with close to 100 acres of cultivated flowers supplying its farm shop, farmers market stalls and wholesale customers at home and abroad.
Located on the light, sandy soils of East Meath, the farm specialises in daffodils with over 20 varieties grown, including some unusual scented, double and bicolour varieties.
The farm also grows over 100,000 peony roses (June), sunflowers, gladioli and lily (July-September), along with a range of other cut flowers and foliage.
The flowers are sold through the farm shop, farmers markets, and online from www.elmgrovefarm.ie
Owned by the McCullough family, the current owner Darragh also exports daffodil flowers and bulbs all over Europe.
Darragh is also well known for his broadcasting and writing about farming and rural issues on RTE and the Irish Independent.
