This beautiful Edwardian walled garden with rare and unusual plants and woodland walks, was lovingly restored by current owner and garden designer, Patricia Barrow. A tea pavilion, plant shop and busy art gallery add to the visitor experience along with a small menagerie of feathered friends to delight all ages. In 2013, the garden appeared as a location for the ‘Asterix and Obelix’ film, featuring the garden’s stunning flower borders, fruit and laburnum trees.
Best time to visit: May – June.
Listoke House and Gardens also hosts weddings, theatrical events, a historic ‘Mead Hall’ for workshops and B/B accommodation. Please see Listoke’s website for more details and information for booking enquiries, event tickets and gallery openings. Group visits to garden by appointment only.
