The Boyne Valley Garden Trail guides gardening enthusiasts to 20 very different, historic and contemporary gardens in the beautiful Boyne Valley region. In 2017, we are delighted to welcome two new members to the Trail – Rosemount Garden and Julianstown Village Garden.
Using the PDF map, 2016 Boyne Valley Garden Trail Map Low res (new map will be ready in Feb. 2017), you can create a personal garden itinerary, including a stop off at one of three listed garden centers on the Trail and have a cup of tea in a garden cafe. Many of the Boyne Valley’s neolithic and medieval treasures are also on the map for all you culture vultures!
Gardens in public and private ownership are waiting to be explored. Some houses are open to view along side gardens, others offer events listings, and in many you will be guided by owners.
Further information about opening hours, admission prices can be found in ‘Our Gardens’ where you can link to the gardens’ own websites for more info.
