The Boyne Valley Garden Trail offers gardening enthusiasts contact details, opening times/days and a driving route to a stunning variety of historic and contemporary gardens located in the beautiful Boyne Valley. In 2017, we are delighted to welcome two new members to the Trail – Rosemount and Julianstown Village Garden, bringing the Trail total to 21 garden and garden centre members.
Using the PDF map, 2016 Boyne Valley Garden Trail Map Low res (new map ready in Feb. 2017), you can create a personal garden itinerary, combining your garden visits with a stop at a plant nursery, as well as some of the famous Neolithic or Medieval sites, which make the Boyne Valley famous.
For visitors wishing to stay for a night or two, stylish country house, B/B and boutique hotel accommodation is also listed.
Gardens in public and private ownership are waiting to be explored. Please see websites for gardens which have cafes, or offer refreshments by appointment. Some historic houses are open to view along side gardens, and occasionally you will be guided by owners.
Further information about opening hours, admission prices can be found in ‘Our Gardens’ where you can link to the gardens’ own websites.
